For the past 2 months or so, my choir has been planning a benefit concert to help raise funds for an upcoming musical we're doing. Me, being the attention hog I am, Tried out for all the male solos (spelled backwards is solos), a quartet, a trio, and a duet. considering that we had only practiced once the night before, the quartet didn't make it (And many of my friends told me over and over and over). I wasn't horribly surprised. However, I made the trio and duet. since I made those 2 I didn't get to have a solo. So I was complacent. Now the songs I'm going to sing are "Hakuna Matata" with the trio and "Point of No Return" as a duet. It has always been my dream to play the role of the Phantom of the Opera.
But as I was going about my day today, I lost my voice, and got the sniffles! The concert is in 4 days! If can't sing I will be heart broken. I just need to sing this, then I can die happy. Jk I don't want to die. Have you ever had an oppertunity to do something Great, but you ended up losing it?
I really hope you get your voice back! All of us (Jessie, Me, Leanna, etc.) are excited about Point Of No Return!
